Following some advice from one of my tutors, i decided to work with pencil crayons... most pet hate, though its worked in my favour.
This is a tabby cat, a present for my grandma for christmas :)

Being back home:
Going through some old artwork that i produced through college until uni, and editing up my work.
Really loved this piece and always thought what if it was based more at night time...so here is the answer.
The three images show the process of the begining to the end of editing it up.

Going home for christmas.
So im going to celebrate with "the doors, jim morrison" portrait, yes this has been overly used way too many times.. though im more than certain i'll add my touch to this and "light his fire".
Scale wise this is around A3 size.. giving me enough time to detail this or leave it how it is over the next week or so.
Its on matte paper.. cost me around 5.50 for a big A2 sheet ..eurgh!
Pencil Sequence of eating a slice of pizza:
The frame around is just a thicker version of paper, though it isn't card.
Editing with warm colours around the sequence so its more eye pleasing than plain white.

Going through old paintings:
Ok so i found this gem going through my old project, after learning basic photoshop and editing skills through my phone and using it through most of my work recently i decided to take a step back and use it within other pieces of artwork i have produced.
Comming across a 'William Turner' inspired sunset painting, i decided to scan it in for a crisp look capturing each and every detail..then editing away.
Heres the process of what i have come to now: making my work look so much more appealing!

Melting away my images..having a 7 hour train journey home is really brain melting!!!! so heres a few more edits of the "time to think" lady, these will be the last i do of her..mainy due to art juices are lacking more and more after writing my essay over the past 2 days.

Lost marley:
Here are two pieces from my train journey that took me a while " especially the first image"
the first edit is more carnival type colours, bright vibrant, giving this more of an album cover feel.
I chose to use yellows/pinks/purples and greens as they as mix with one another, making each colour stand out when next to the other.. kind of like a pop-art feel.

Right now im in Wales, its pretty cold outside and i've still managed to get some editing work done on the "time to think" piece of artwork... the more im editing it the more im seeing it as a graffiti type of work than a painting that it was originally.
Heres some few examples: absolutely love the first image, with the blue/black and red dripping..i think the solid black tones give this so much more emphasis than the other two.
